Hi Kylie and Team,

As you know, I hired your Tram Bus for my Wife's birthday last weekend. The lead up to it may be of interest, as it is a good example of how to do business well and how to do it badly.

I rang a certain Perth Bus company, and was rudely told that they were fully booked on the day I wanted it. Interesting that I didn't even get so far as to what time I wanted it, so they may have been able to do it, but never found out, as I hung up.

Then I tried a Government Bus Contractor. After being cut off once, put through to three people who were not interested, then being yelled at, I again left.

I then rang your company. Kylie took the call, listened, took notes, made a cheaper suggestion, emailed me immediately with the quote and payment details and with two days to go followed up with her mobile, the Bus mobile, and wished me well. On the night the driver could not have been more accommodating. No one could have known, but on the bus were two overseas Consul Generals, a Lord Mayor, and over 20 GMs and CEOs of local and national Mining and Oil and Gas companies. You never know who the client actually is on the other end of the phone. Every call is important. All of them were impressed with the service of the Perth Tram Company. You deserve to do well.

And on the night I found out Kylie owned the company. Well done.

Just a short note to say how much our team enjoyed the tram ride as part of our end of financial year function on the 25th June.

Many staff have commented that it was a highlight of the day and it made an often boring 40 minute journey fun. The service was punctual and the driver was friendly and accommodating.

Dear Kylie,

I feel compelled to put in writing my feelings regarding the extremely professional business dealings that I've recently had the pleasure of experiencing with The Perth Tram Company. My dealings with you personally, left me in no doubt that I was a valued customer, whose needs you were there to positively serve. Your attention to the fine planning detail is further testimony to that professionalism. With the constraints of a very fine and complexed timeline that you were provided to work within, there was always a very realistic opportunity for that timeline to be blown out, thus resulting in a negative domino effect on the rest of the wedding day's proceedings.

Words cannot adequately explain the sense of joy, and calming relief we experienced when Ray actually arrived earlier than scheduled. He politely informed us to take our time and board the tram when we were ready. We chose to board immediately and take advantage of the extra time this would afford us for the rest of the timeline.

Once again we were amazed to see that although we had only requested [And would have been more than happy with] a white ribbon attached to the exterior of the tram, that you had of your own volition, tastefully and appropriately decorated the interior of the tram. We thank you for that.

I found Ray to be most professional, in my dealings with him however was gob smacked when my daughter in law told me that Ray had gone beyond the call of duty when he picked her and the bridal party up, by taking the time, as well as having the decency to take pictures of them on and outside of the tram. This foresight and compassion affords us the opportunity to now visually reflect on that very special moment in time. We thank him for that.

Mum and I took the trifecta tour on Sat 12th and I just had to let you know how much we enjoyed it. It was extremely well organised and your drivers are the best! Cant remember the name of the chap who picked us up at Aarons but he was great and so were Dave & Les. Wonderful commentary and very special care for my elderly mum. Thank you so much and kudos to the guys!!!!!! Hope to get back to Perth with more time to spend.

Hi Kylie,

The boys and their partners had a fantastic night. Not that I heard too much from my son!

All the parents loved the Tram and thought how much nicer it was than a bus.

Thank you very much for your ideas and help in planning the ride. It was actually too dark to go anywhere for photos, so they just enjoyed the ride.

Good afternoon

I am writing to compliment your driver Les. He was a very friendly and helpful fellow. We were only in Perth for a few days and the trip with him was an absolute delight that we enjoyed thoroughly. He went above and beyond. He had great knowledge of the Perth landmarks and we enjoyed what he had to tell us. We live in Mount Isa QLD and our trip with him will remain a highlight in our memories of Perth.

I had a brief visit to Perth for business and took the opportunity to have a tour on the Perth Tram. Our guide, named Ron, a bloke from South Africa, was so friendly, entertaining and informative. He engaged with everyone on board and had the most wonderful manner, keeping everyone laughing and answering everyone's questions. He went out of his way to ensure individuals understood the tour options and got the best value for money. He advised on the best way to make their way around Perth when they left the tram and was truly commited to all of his passengers having a fabulous time. Overall it was a real highlight of my short stay in Perth. Highly recommended. with many thanks.

I, Felicity Nolan, (from Melbourne) was spending the day in Perth whilst visiting my daughter from Exmouth (Emma) who was at a conference in the city. The tour guide (Les) oops or was it Len, took us on the trip, but he was definitely more animated than your usual tour guide and genuinely enjoyed being with people. You could see that from the other locals he would talk to whilst travelling. His vast knowledge was made so more entertaining because of his natural charm and wit and love of his job and city. He was a pleasure to be with and I will promote this trip to my many friends who visit and my daughter has said that when she returns for another conference, she would definitely do a trip with him (hopefully) but if not with your company. This is a good choice is you want to see Perth all at one time.....we visit Perth in June 2011 and we took the 2 days tours. Their drivers (esp by the name Ron) are knowledgeable and friendly ...and another driver who pick us up during our trip back from Frementle is very friend and give us an advise how we should schedule our 2nd Day Tour and it really work out well. Thanks and thumbs up to the drivers!
It also give us the flexibility to hop in and hop off within the route and is fun...

A Fantastic way to see and learn about the City of Perth!

How pleased we were that we chose the City Explorer Tour and how lucky we were to have such a fantastic tour guide - Ron (number 2). His knowledge, passion, energy and non stop presentation (not to mention his humour!) was truly the best we have ever experienced on an intriductory tour of a city (and we have experienced many). Eddie our driver was fantastic and the High Tea at Valley View was also very impressive.
